Interested in learning more about our nickel sulfate plant project? Read our project notice, now available on the Ministère de l’Environnement, de la Lutte contre les changements climatiques, de la Faune et des Parcs’ site.
Making nickel sulfate does not generate significant quantities of greenhouse gases, and by-products can be reused, recycled or disposed of safely.
However, we are aware that a robust environmental assessment is essential to ensure the social license of our project. That’s why it’s essential for Vale to follow the Government of Quebec’s consultation process.
Visit our site regularly to read documents that will be produced as part of the environmental assessment.
